In these cold, darker days, it’s easy to lose sight of the moments that bring light to our lives. That’s why I’ve created the Glimmer Jar—a way to capture those magical, heartfelt moments throughout the year and keep them close, even in the depths of winter.
A Glimmer Jar is simple yet profoundly nurturing. It’s a small act of self-care, a gift you give to your future self. Think of it as paying it forward—a jar filled with blessings, love, and light, ready to remind you of joy when you need it most.
How to Make Your Glimmer Jar
- Find Your Jar: Any jar will do! I used an old pasta jar for mine. Give it a clean, and if you’d like, decorate it to make it feel special.
- Download* and Print Your Label: I’ve designed two beautiful labels for you to decorate your jar. Choose between a whimsical pink design with sparkles and unicorns or a delicate floral wreath—whatever speaks to you.
- Start Adding Glimmers: Throughout the year, jot down moments that spark joy, gratitude, or love on little slips of paper. They can be big or small—a kind word from a friend, a beautiful sunset, or a moment of courage.
- Seal in the Magic: Drop your glimmers into the jar and let them build up over time.
